Trend: two finger rings

Ever since I saw Lauren Conrad sport a double finger nameplate ring on The Hills last year I wanted one for myself.  Celebrities are even rockin the 3 or 4 finger rings!

I didn't want a personalized ring with my name on it so I opted for this beauty.  I adorn the Erica Anenberg Bow Twosome Ring almost every day.  I love it and it's my favorite way to embellish my outfit.

Over the weekend the huz and I did a little shopping at Nordstrom Rack and I found a huge selection of Betsey Johnson jewelry.  I snagged this necklace for $16.97.  The original price tag was $42.   It has two charms.  One is a bow and the other is a pump.  I love cute small delicate charm necklaces!

Chocolate 'do

Ciao bellas!  Today I sat in the salon for two hours & got my hair done!  I had it colored a shade of black called chocolate.  I also had it deep conditioned and had my stylist take off two inches.  My hair feels so healthy now!  It was so dry & I had a ton of split ends!  Now my hair is shiny & as smooth as silk.  It feels faaabulous.  Click on the pics to make them bigger. :)

Lust list

What a day! Twitter was down this morning for about 4 hours which means I would've been better off staying in bed all day since nothing else matters jk jk *.~
After reading emails, looking at friend's pictures on Facebook & refreshing Twitter a hundred times I was finally able to catch up on blogger. Every time I read posts from the beauty bloggers I follow I have a post-it note as long as my forearm of things I lust after.

Here are a few items on my lust list.

A new digicam. I'm not sure which model I want yet. I'll need to do more research but I think I'd like something in the Nikon Coolpix range. 12.0+ mpx is preferred. (my strong argument point for the hubz will be "I need a good digicam to pick up all the adorable moments our future kids have as babies!")

Japanese cosmetics: Shiseido Majolica Majorca, Lunasol by Kanebo & Shu Uemura are the three brands I'm lusting to try. Their products look so fab. x3

A subscription to Japanese fashion magazines. The magazines I'm interested in are harajuku, kawaii, & manga type fashion mags. The fashion world in Japan is completely different and I love flipping through pictures for inspiration. Here are a few magazine scans from Eki's blog. Check it out. She's so cute!

Happy Birthday indeed!

On Friday the hubs took me to Neiman Marcus and got me the Speedy 30 for my birthday! This pic is me & ms. speedy at my brother's house. Giggity giggity!

I'm turning a speedy 30

I'm getting old. I'm turning 29 in August and this makes me sad. I'm loving my 20's! I'm not ready yet! I decided to draw up a wishlist of items I would like to receive for my birthday. It sounds completely selfish and it is but this would truly make me a happy woman who will be one year away from turning 30! Here is a photo of Audrey Hepburn sporting a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30.
Ok scratch that, I only have one item on my wish list and I truly believe this item will make me look younger than 29. ;) This is the Speedy 30 from the Damier collection in Azur. I might want the Speedy 25 since the 30 might be too big for me but it's only a difference of $40. I'll just have to take a trip to Neiman Marcus to see which size suits me better. I prefer the pattern of the Damier collection rather than the classic LV design because it's not so in-your-face look at my Louis. Yup, so this is all I want for my birthday. This and a few cupcakes from Cupcakes Actually (my favorite store ever). It's beautiful, no?

Studded handbags

Here is Mary-Kate Olsen (lookin' like she crawled out of a dumpster again) rockin the beloved Alexander Wang Coco Duffel. {le sigh} It's beautiful. It's not completely out of my price range :rolls eyes: however it is sold out on every online shop. (This highly sought after handbag retails for $850!)

An alternative would be this gorgeous piece right here. I present to you the Studded Satchel by Tory Burch for a mere $595. :) I love it however I will not be hauling it anytime soon.

I did manage to find this beauty and the price didn't look too bad either! Behold, the Shawna handbag from Bakers. I purchased this for $69.95 and to my dismay I looked at the website today and it's on sale for $49.99. Don't you hate when that happens?! I haven't even used this purse yet! Regardless I'm still happy I hauled it and I just wanted to share that with my lovely readers. :)

Forever haulin

My package from Forever 21 arrived today! I bought two maxi dresses, two short strapless floral dresses ($12), a Hello Kitty tee & chandelier earrings. I love maxi dresses however I'm only 5'0" so I don't buy too many. These maxi dresses were $22 each and if I choose to get them hemmed I'll have to pay half of what the dress cost just to get them hemmed. I think I'll just shop for new comfortable wedges that'll add on 3-4". OR I could just learn how to hem them myself since every singe pair of pants I buy needs a trip to the taylor. Meh. I'll just buy the wedges :D
